Tidbecks works on sustainability
-“Inside and out”

Working towards a sustainable future
At Tidbecks, we are working actively and take a long-term perspective on issues related to both environmental and social sustainability. It is important for us that all parties find benefit in what we are providing, and that we act responsibly with respect to the world we live in. Our aim is to contribute to the society in which we operate, while our operations and our wire and grille products have the smallest environmental impact possible. We are responsive and committed to the world around us, and through open dialogue with customers and suppliers, we ensure that the entire chain is permeated by sustainability and quality. We are certified according to ISO 9001:2015 and the environmental management system ISO 14001:2015. Through the active use of these systems, we ensure that we get the best possible return from the ones we invest in.
We work on sustainable development from the inside out, while being informed and prepared for directives and demands from the outside world. Two of these requirements are the UN’s Global Goals and the EU’s CRSD directive, which are both guidelines that we follow. Whether they affect us directly or indirectly, it is essential for us to have the knowledge and drive to take positive action towards our common future. Through our detailed work, we have determined the carbon footprint of every item we manufacture. Even when we provide you with a quote, we indicate the carbon load.

Tidbeck’s Sustainability Report 3.0
Global Goals
The Global Goals, or Agenda 2030 as it is also called, were adopted by the world’s heads of state and governments in autumn 2015 and are an agenda for sustainable development. The goals, which are divided into 17 different categories, aim to create a better, fairer and more sustainable world.
The directive also includes the ESRS, which stands for European Sustainability Reporting Standards. ESRS are a common reporting standard for sustainability reporting, which covers 12 different areas with respect to environment, social sustainability and responsible business. In simple terms, CSRD determines the information that we as a company should disclose, and ESRS describes what and how we should disclose that information.
At Tidbecks, we are affected by this directive indirectly through our customers and suppliers, but we always strive to be prepared. Consequently, our management team went off on a training course where we learned more about CSRD and ESRS and how we are affected.
